I’m more of a lurker than a writer, so I’m not sure what is the “major trend” you’re referring to. The news media, for one, has been covering these trends for a longer time than any other group. As far as breaking news or investigative journalism, I think the major trend is the polarization of politics, which we’ll get into in a bit. The other big trend I’m talking about is the increasing amount of money spent on advertising.
It’s a little disconcerting that we’re not doing any research into the trends you’ve mentioned. My guess would be that the increase in polarization is due to political polarization, but I don’t have a source for that.
I guess the other big trend is the amount of money spent on advertising. As I mentioned in my previous post, the amount of money spent on advertising is rising steadily. This is not just because there is an increasing amount of money spent on advertising, it is also due to the fact that the media companies are spending more money on advertising. This is a very real trend that is becoming more pronounced, and is one that has very real effects on our society.
Media companies spend more money on advertising on newspapers and magazines, but advertising on television and radio is increasing more. This is because television and radio are where the bulk of the eyeballs are, and television and radio stations want to reach as many people as possible. This is why the two big broadcasters, the ABC and CBS, both spend money on advertising to reach as many people as possible. The more eyeballs you have, the more money you have, thus the ever-increasing amount of advertising.
Yes, it’s true that the amount of advertising on television and radio is growing. But the percentage of that advertising on television and radio is decreasing. For instance, the amount of advertising in the newspapers is increasing, which is great, but the amount of advertising in the newspapers is not increasing. In other words, newspapers and magazines are still getting more and more ads, but the amount of that advertising is not growing.
This is because the advertisers are actually buying less and less ads, and thus are spending more and more money on other things. The advertisers are buying so many ads that they can no longer afford to buy ads in the newspapers. Which is why newspapers and magazines are not increasing their advertising. In other words, the increasing number of people who advertise is not increasing the number of ads available for consumers, and thus is not helping the cause of increased advertising.
This is also why the price of advertising is going up. More and more people are not spending money on the media for the advertisers because they are spending less and less on advertising.
What this means is that advertising has to turn into something other than an entertainment medium. This takes a lot of work and innovation, and that is exactly where our industry needs to be heading in the future.
